RECREATION

Challenge Course

Our challenge course consists of both a low challenge course, as well as a high. The low course is designed to help with team building, and can be beneficial for sports teams, youth groups, or businesses that want to grow closer together as a team. The low course is mostly on the ground, with a few elements getting you a couple feet off the ground.

The highs consist of a inclined log, cat walk, two line bridge, rock wall, zip lines, power pole, and a giant swing! This is also great for team building, but also great for overcoming fear and building confidence.
With the platform being 38 ft up in the air, you will love the views before going down the 400 ft zip lines.

Swimming Pool

Our 125,000 gallon swimming pool is open from the middle of May through the middle of September. With two water slides, and an 8 ft deep end, this is our busiest attraction during the summer.

Filled with our water well, and carved into the caliche, this is one of the coldest pools you will ever swim in. This is the perfect place to cool off all summer long.

It is open daily during the summer camp season, with even a few night swims.

Though we don't do birthday parties anymore, we do swims for youth groups, Sunday school classes, and school groups.

Paintball

Our newly renovated paintball course will provide you and your group hours of fun. We added a few vehicles as well as several new bunkers. Paintball is ideal for groups of 10-24. All participants must be in 1st grade or older, and be big enough for a mask to safely fit on your head.

Bazooka Ball

This game is quickly becoming one of our campers favorites. We replace the barrels on the paint ball guns to shoot a 2 inch foam ball. This is a great team sport that we play both indoor and outdoors. This is great for groups of all ages. Bazooka Ball is also available for us to bring it to your church for a dnow, lock-in, or other event.

Archery

Camp wouldn't be camp with archery. Archery has been around since 10,000 BC and is still relevant today. The campers enjoy the competition with their friends to see who can get closest to bulls-eye. Our bows can be adjusted from 5-20 lbs, and with bows that are both right handed and left handed, they are great for all ages.

Axe Throwing

The axe throwing trend is sweeping across the nation. We built our axe throwing range in 2021 and had an immediate positive response from both our campers and our sponsors. We have never seen sponsors get more competitive any where else, as they try and get their axes stuck in the bulls-eye or the kill-shot.

Ga-Ga Ball &
Nine Square

These two are a camp staple. Would it even be camp with out either of these? Ga-Ga ball remains king when it comes to free time recreation. You will find Ga-Ga located next to the gift shop, and 9-square out at the new rec pavilion.

Disc Golf

We have a nice little 9-hole, par 3, course that runs around camp. We take advantage of the trees around camp to make it a tough little course, especially in the West Texas wind. The current course record is a -3 (24) that has been achieved by a couple different people. Come beat the record and we will buy you a Dr. Pepper slushy.

Outdoor Recreation

In addition to all of the recreation already listed, we have a plethora of other outdoor recreation located throughout camp. We just built a 14,000 sq ft recreation pavilion that houses the 9 square, and multiple basketball hoops. We have another basketball court next to the worship center. Other activities include washers, horse shoes, corn hole, carpet ball, and multiple recreation fields.

We have various equipment available to rent out such as dodge balls, footballs, basketballs, frisbees, cones, flags, etc.

Skeet shooting is also available to our adult groups. We have 12 and 20 gauge shot guns available for that.

Indoor Recreation

During our summer camp season, we convert our auditorium in a game room. The game room includes ladder ball, giant jenga, giant connect four, multiple foosball tables, and multiple ping pong tables.

These games are available by request during our retreat season.
