Session 1 Worship Leader: DeeJay & Bre Whiting
Deejay and Bre are a husband and wife ministry team who uses their gifts and calling for the glory of God! Together they have had the opportunity to lead worship for various types of events involving students and adults. They fully believe the truth of Ephesians 2:10 that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works! These works were planned before hand so that all we have to do in walk in them by God's grace. This is what Deejay & Bre are striving to do! They want to use their gifts of writing, music, singing, playing instruments and teaching to reach lost and encourage the found. Currently Deejay serves as a student pastor at Rush Creek and Bre’Ana serves as a Worship Minister. Together they have music available on all digital outlets under “Bre’Ana Whiting” as well as a Children’s book available on Amazon.

Session 2 Worship Leader: Mike Romero
Mike Romero Music is a group of creative musicians who recognize a real responsibility to train, equip and invest in God’s people as we work to praise Him together. They are a band, yes. But Mike Romero Music is truly just a group of artists who make music and provide resources. First and foremost, they are a collective of musicians who’ve been uniquely prepared to create music that resonates far beyond the church’s influence. They believe the music that deals with struggles and pain, joy and celebration can’t always just be labeled “worship music.” Rather, it’s just music that makes much of the Lord and communicates our journey to get closer to Him. In addition to music, they publish articles that serve as inspiration, devotion, and worship on a regular basis to support and contribute to discipleship.
The group desires for everything that comes out of their ministry to be geared towards amplifying creativity for the glory of God—an integrated approach of developing disciples who can then recognize their own talents to honor Him. Mike and his crew call the state of Texas home, but you can often find them throughout the country supporting churches and growing believers through various camps, conferences, and worship experiences. Session 1 and 2 Emcee: Ben Moore
Ben has been our emcee for 5 years now and our students love him. He has spent years working as a youth minister and now serves as the Pastor of First Baptist Church Ira. Ben enjoys spending time with the students, and helping plan our camp. Even though he is terrible at fishing, he is still pretty good at playing dodgeball. You will find him out on the recreation field wearing his fanny pack drinking Dr. Pepper slushes. He has a huge heart for the students and will spend his days hanging out with them and investing in them.
